Gingerbread Houses

We went to the Grove Park Inn with our friends to see the National Gingerbread House competition in which 325 entries were displayed.

We want to share some of our favorites:

Our nephews and niece actually contributed to this gingerbread house in their art class. They ranked in the Top Ten for the Children's category:

Keegan's favorite:

This is my favorite gingerbread house because it is so professionally done. Everything in the gingerbread houses has to be eatable. When I first saw this house, I could barely believe that all of it could be eaten. The green siding of the house was the most amazing part to me and also the trees.

McKenna's Favorite:

This is my favorite because it tells the story of the first Christmas in a gingerbread Bible. Also I liked it because of how real it looked.

Braden's favorite:

I can't believe that somebody made Christmas trees that look real! I can't believe that someone made ornaments that look real. I can't believe how much elves they made. My favorite part is the elves.

Camille's Favorite:
The ornate detail on this Asian castle was amazing!!
