Panther Football Game

We went to the Carolina Panthers vs. Washington Redskins game on Nov. 11. It was a great game and the Panthers ended up pulling off a win after a stressful game!

Indian Creek Campground

We went camping with our best buddies to Indian Creek campground in Cherokee, NC. It was a beautiful campground, but we literally got drenched!!

Beach Trip

We went to Hilton Head for a week this year. After studying about sea animals last year, we were able to see the beach with a whole new perspective.

We found tons of horseshoe crabs! There had been a big storm out at sea before we got there and so much was washed up on shore. There were hundreds of bivalves the first day all bunched together (when I didn't have my camera!), but they weren't there the rest of the week.

Shenandoah National Park

We went on a one week camping vacation to Shenandoah National Park. It was an amazing trip! We stayed in the walk-in tent area of Big Creek Campground.

We had stunning views

We saw lots of bears! The pictures below are of a mother and two cubs we saw from our car. We also passed by one while hiking on the AT. The kids and Tom passed just a few yards by two bears while riding their bikes.
